TheBEERSgoneBAD: Taste Test Challenge

Budweiser is the only major beer in the world using the traditional beechwood ageing process to naturally age the beer. Budweiser is brewed with a combination of 2-row and 6-row barley malt to achieve a very specific flavour balance.

The beer is crafted using a second fermentation, a method called “kraeusening“, to mature the flavour of the beer. Kraeusening is a traditional, natural way of carbonating beer.

Producer: Budweiser   –   www.budweiser.com
ABV:   5%
Country of Origin:   USA
Style:   Pale Lager

Coors Original Case- Coors was first introduced by Adolph Coors in April 1874. It’s nicknamed the Banquet Beer. Legend has it that in the late 1800s, thirsty miners threw celebratory banquets, with Coors as the honorary beer because of its superior craftsmanship. Prior to its nationwide distribution in 1981, Coors built a cult following, with presidents, movie stars and consumers toting the beer back from Colorado or making special trips to buy the uniquely crisp and drinkable beer. Coors is brewed in the Rockies for a uniquely crisp, clean and drinkable “Mile High Taste.”

Miller Genuine Draft is crisp and smooth, with a slight sweet taste. This original cold-filtered draft beer is packaged and never exposed to heat, making it unbelievably smooth and refreshing. After brewing, the beer is immediately cooled to around 35F to keep it crisp, cold and full of flavor. MGD is then filtered four times, the last round runs the beer through porous ceramic filters to remove any remaining impurities. This unique packaging process is what keeps MGD’s “fresh from the tap taste” reputation alive.

TheBEERSgoneBAD: Mississippi Mud

“Dating back to 18th century England, the custom of blending pale and dark beers has kept the “Black & Tan” a favorite of experienced beer drinkers for centuries.  Our famous recipe combines a robust English Porter with a fine Continental Pilsner, preserving the character of each, while creating the classic taste of the legendary “Black & Tan”.  In true American style, we bring you the best of both beers as they meet in Mississippi Mud.”
